The Police headlined their first European shows of the tour at The 6th Golden Summernight Festival in Augsburg and the following day in Darmstadt.
This stadium was only half filled on this very rainy day. The audience wasn't enthusiastic. The Police delivered an uninspired show.
During Walking On The Moon the bass was hardly hearable.
Before Hole In My Life: "Piss off. [..] Clever dig. Think you're a pro".
During Can't Stand Losing You Sting said: "I don't know what to say about today, except that I think you're the soft [?] audience of the earth. I wish I could say that in German. [..] Our two singers from America: Singy and Singy".
Surprisingly The Police came back for a second encore.
